Today is "Spay Day" in Fairfield. Mayor Mickey Borah is calling on residents to have their cats and dogs spayed or neutered to help reduce the number of stray animals in the area.

i agree that all should have their animals spayed or nuetered unless of course your in the breeding business. however, do we really have to declare a day as spay day. i mean come on, as FF doesn't get made fun of enough already for things like the lawnmower bandit.
