Lonely Days

Well this weekend has got to be the loneliest weekend I have ever experience in McDonald Hall. My roommate has removed most of her belongings because she has been told by Bethel College housing that she must be out by Monday. This is all due to the fact that she dropped a class that dropped her hours from 12 to 8. This means that she is no longer a full time student and may no longer live in the dorms. So I'm roommateless and my room is beginning to look bare. Luckily my roommate is a nice gal and she's allowing me to keep the space heater for the semester, which is great because it's hard to get out of bed when the temp. of your room is 62. That's really no good. And I have some friends willing to let me borrow a few other things to tide me over until the semester is complete. It just so happens that all of the people with whom I usually hang out with on the weekends all live fairly close to home and decided to go there this weekend. Thus McDonald Hall is very quiet, which is nice for sleeping, but not so nice for hangin' out. This is not to say I have no friends here right now because I have plenty of friends on campus, most of them just live in other halls. So I hate to leave you on a depressing note. So behold I bring good tidings of great joy. I have found a new roommate for next year. My friend Hannah's roommate will not be returning after this semester so we're in the same boat. Hopefully a room in Prosser has our name on it, because it's new and doesn't have community bathrooms.
