Please remember Bethel and its students in your prayers. So far this has been a horrible week and it's only Tuesday. The attack Sunday evening left everyone shaken up and somewhat stunned. What happened last night stunned us all the more. A senior here at bethel was playing in an intramural basketball tournament last night when he began experiencing chest pains. He asked to borrow a friend's car and drove himself to the emergency room where he had a massive heart attack and died. The devil has been trying to get his foot in the door here at Bethel. Please pray for Bethel and the family of this 24-year-old student.
"Whatever happens, conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ. Then whether I come and see you or only hear about you in my absence, I will know that you stand firm in one spirit, contending as one man for the faith of the gospel without being frightened in any way by those who oppose you. Yes, I for sure will. I had heard about this last night and thought the same thing. And for your safety Bethany, you are not allowed to leave your room..ever. Classes are not an option right now. Sorry, but we can't take any chances.
