If you pass this on to 5 people within the next...

I hate these e-mails. They annoy me. I never pass them on. I just look at it and say DELETED!

Today I received one that said, "If you aren't ashamed to do this, please follow the directions. Jesus said, 'If you are ashamed of me, I will be ashamed of you before my Father.' Pass this on to 10 people and God will bless you. I do Love God. He is my source of existence. He keeps me functioning each and every day. Phil 4:13 If you love God and are not ashamed of all the marvelous things he has done for you, send this on. Take 60 seconds &give this a shot! Let's just see if Satan stops this one."

Personally I don't think I have to pass on an e-mail to be blessed by God. I'm pretty sure I can walk across the hall and share my joy in Christ with another student and I'll probably feel more blessed than if I forward an e-mail to 10 people. What annoys me the most is that people twist the scriptures. I don't think chain e-mail is quite what God had in mind when He told us, "If you are ashamed of me, I will be ashamed of you before my Father." I'd go so far as to bet what He probably meant was that we should be so unashamed of Him that we should live everyday to worship and honor him openly without worry about what others think.

I am not ashamed the one and only God.

in my honest opinion - people who send me these are quilty of causing their sister to stumble which the Bible also warns against because when i open my email up to find an inbox full of this crap i stumble with not so nice thoughts towards those people - this exlcudes michelle luker who sends quality forwards only. anyone else - STOP IT NOW!!!!
