Oh There's No Place Like Home For The Holidays

Well, It's almost turkey day, and I'm ready for some of grandma's ribs and some chocolate pie. Anyway all my class for tomorrow have been canceled so I'm headed home first thing in the morning. This will be a much needed break. Not that I have time to really slack off on any of the studying, but I'm sure I'll get a fine nap after at least one of my Thanksgiving meals.

So I went to lunch today and they were serving the Thanksgiving meal, which wasn't bad for the caf. We had turkey, dressing, corn, really good rolls and pumpkin pie. I must say it was quite a surprise. I should have known, however, that it would be leftovers for dinner. I expected this, but I don't think I would have been quite as disappointed if that hadn't run out of meat. So after a nice lunch, I had two rolls and a bowl of Cinnamon Toast Crunch.
