Snow, SALT & Sickness

It's been very exciting this week it snowed. I think we got like an inch and a half. Maybe. But that appears to be a big thing down here. People really do freak out, and some people who didn't freak out should have freaked out a little more. Today on my way back from my canceled class a teenager learned that Mustangs do not have the best traction on snow. He did a 180 in the street after which he decided to slow down.

We had our first Love Kitchen on Thursday evening. I unfortunately was not able to attend due to the fact I was quite sick and did not want to pass that along to the people in attendance. However, I was told it went very well. We served three people at the Love Kitchen and delivered food to about 20 families. Hopefully the weather will be better next week and more people will come. Please keep the Love Kitchen and SALT in your prayers.

As well, please keep me in your prayers as I have felt horribly ill for 6 days now. I want to get over this because I have way more important things to be doing.

Oh and apparently the guy I mentioned in my comment on the last post did come to the Love Kitchen and plans on coming back. Praise God!
